#3015SS, X-15R
Stainless Steel Whirlwind The Whirlwind has been the most famous name in the Cotton Candy industry for over 50 years! Today’s X-15R Whirlwind will plug into virtually any 15R amp, 120 volt line. (In Canada, a 20 Amp outlet is required.) You’ll get maximum double band Cotton Candy production on a continuous basis from this heavy-duty workhorse! Solid state heat control has been proven to be thoroughly dependable on several thousand machines over the past few years. The UL listed heat control on today’s X-15R will run cooler than the old rheostats – actually, with decreased demand for rheostats, the price has gone out of sight – quality and dependability are the reasons why people who switched to solid state. The X-15R uses our double deck “life time” floss band with two “standard” ribbons. The motor is the heavy-duty 1/3 HP (not the 1/12 th HP used by the competition in their largest machine). The X-15R is an easy machine to operate – the heavy-duty 16-gauge stainless steel cabinet is built to last a lifetime. To operate, fill the head, turn the switches on and adjust the voltmeter. (Whirlgrip Floss Stabilizer included.) Shipping weight 86 lbs. in two cartons. Order #2013SX for 230 Volt, 50 Hz. International voltage. Draws 14.7 Amps on 120 Volts. |
#3077 Floss Maxx
You asked for it – a higher production machine that you can plug in “anywhere!” The Floss Maxx is shown here without the bowl to underscore the double deck floss band and the four floss brush hardware. The Floss Maxx is an economically priced machine that became a major breakthrough when first introduced in 1999. Now, for just a few dollars more than the Econo Floss, you get virtually 60% to 70% more output. Solid state heat control has been proven to be dependable in several models over several years and several thousand machines. 1/12 th HP sealed ball bearing motor should give great performance in moderately busy retail stores, rental locations, school carnivals, etc. For the midways, the Deluxe Whirlwind with the built in voltage booster is still the better way to go – but it’s more costly, as well. The #3077 Floss Maxx plugs into any 15 Amp line – draws 14.2 Amps. Be sure to use Floss Maxx ribbon when replacing the heating elements. Standard Whirlwind ribbons draw too much electricity. #42040NM Non-Metallic Floss Pan is included. |
