The
Shavemaster...II Improved Again!
The World's Finest Rotating Block Ice Shaver...And It's Made In The USA |
||
The #1005
Shavemaster II is the only American made Shave Ice Machine which operates by rotating a round block of ice over a fixed, hardened, stainless steel blade. Shaving pressure is not “automatic!” You adjust the blade height to accomplish the fineness you desire. You actually get the “feel” of it once you start shaving snow that is finer than nature’s finest. Last summer, many improvements were made in the Shavemaster II, such as the “automatic feed”, easier blade adjustment and better safety inter-lock. In addition, improved ball bearing support for the main shaft leads to longer life. In every way, the Shavemaster II is superior to any of the machines that are made overseas. Better yet, the warranty is from Gold Medal. In addition, this unit is UL listed. If you don’t have the ice compartment door firmly locked, the machine will not turn the block of ice – this eliminates the “flying ice block” that occasionally comes out of the other machines and hits the operator squarely in the chest! By contrast, the |
virtually “bullet
proof” poly- carbonate door safely retains all the pieces of a broken ice block until the operator turns the motor off, removes the pieces and installs a new block. The Shavemaster turns a little faster than the Far East machines. You’ll get a little more production. Quiet “V Belt” drive eliminates the noisy gear chatter found in one type of overseas unit. Cast stainless steel ice block retaining disk. Cast aluminum upper and lower base castings. Pulleys plated to prevent rust. If you or the operator have your own Shave Ice setup, you can actually get finer shave ice as you learn to freeze your own blocks and have an unlimited supply! The Hawaii’s Finest Cube Ice Shaver makes shave almost as fine – but its main advantage is that you can get unlimited quantities of ice anywhere. It’s your choice. #1005 Super Shaver Shavemaster II 281/2" (72 cm) high (add 7" [18cm] when the block retention shaft is up). 10"W x 20"D (25W x 51D cm) base casting. Shipping weight 110 lbs. |

#1085 Ice Molds
with Lids When you use a Block Ice Shaver, insuring an adequate inventory of blocks to shave is your responsibility. Normally you can’t purchase round blocks. When you pick or saw 50 lb. blocks into smaller chunks, it’s a little difficult to keep the machine in balance. So, production of round ice blocks is a “Do it yourself” project – and a very inexpensive way to keep your cost per serving down. It is very important for you to learn to freeze round block ice. It is important to have literally hundreds of blocks made up in advance. When you are out of round blocks, you may be out of business! It is important to have a dozen or two dozen molds “working” at all times – then pack your blocks in poly bags and repeat the freezing process. #1085 Half Gallon Plastic Ice Mold with Lid #1085DZ One Dozen Ice Molds with Lids, Shown above. |
