Three-Way Popcorn

Did you ever receive a
gift tin of popcorn with
three flavors separated
by a cardboard
divider? If so, at least
75% of us pull out the
cardboard and create
“three-way” popcorn.
In many shops they
offer it this way – you
can, too, if you are
interested in giving
people what they
enjoy most. Simply mix
equal parts of Regular
Popcorn, Caramel
Corn and Cheddar
Cheese made the
Cheddar Easy way.
This is a gold mine.

for it!
 
Cheddar Easy is a great way
to make “industrial strength
Cheddar Cheese Corn!”
Carefully melt about one
pound of Cheddar Easy in a
double boiler or similar type
warmer, melt it gently. If it
goes above 135º, you have
ruined it! Pour the melted
Cheddar Easy on to 5
gallons of popped corn in
the Flav-R-Tater. Put on the
lid, place it in the cradle and
let it tumble for a minute or
two so that it is evenly
coated. Cheddar Easy is a
stabilized mix of cheddar
cheese and vegetable oil.
30% to 40% coatings are
possible – experiment to
get the one you like best.

Simply put a 5 gallon measure of freshly popped
popcorn in the bowl – turn the motor “on” and then
pour about 14 oz. of slightly warmed Cheddar Easy
over the corn as the paddle rotates. In about two
minutes it’s evenly coated, so turn the motor switch
off, lift the mix paddle off and pour the delicious
Cheddar Cheese Corn into one of the types of
display merchandisers shown below.

Chicago Style
“Chicago Style” corn starts
with great tasting Caramel Corn
– exactly like you make in the
Corntreat Cooker Mixer. It
continues with the best-flavored
Cheddar Cheese Popcorn. It’s
important that both of these
products begin with the extra-
tender, “medium kernel” popcorn.
The third item in “Chicago Style”
is great tasting regular corn,
popped with oil, which has
excellent butter flavor – as well as
Flavacol® and again, “medium
kernel” corn.
When you receive a gift tin
of corn, it’s usually the extra
hard “mushroom” corn. The
gold mine here is one-third
regular Caramel, one-third
Cheddar Cheese and
one-third regular Popcorn.
